SEKISUI House Australia has launched a new home building brand focusing on delivering lifestyle focused housing options.
The new brand, Shavida, will offer lifestyle focused housing based on conventional building methodologies and currently has a range of home designs for single and double storey residences.
The new designs will be cater to the needs of first home buyers, families and downsizers.
Shavida’s first year strategy will be focused on the Ripley region in south-east Queensland, having opened four display homes at Ecco Ripley.
Situated in south-east Queensland’s western grown corridor, Ripley, have been experiencing strong population growth. With the Ripley Priority Development Area to function as a proving ground for the new brand, before it expands into Ipswich and other high-growth corridor areas in the south-east.
“As one of the largest PDAs in Australia, Ripley is primed for investment and is set to make way for more than 50,000 dwellings to meet the region’s population projections — 133,800 new residents by 2036,” said Hide Seguchi, CEO and managing director of Sekisui.
Shavida homes will be designed in collaboration with Australian designers and Japanese architects, with an emphasis on functionality and sustainability.
“Shavida will help address the need for affordable and quality housing, delivering innovative homes that are meticulously crafted, and backed by more than 30 years of comprehensive research to understand how families at different life stages live, work, move, play, relax and entertain,” added Hide.
“Our smart home designs prioritise durability and flexibility, as well as quality assurance across construction, fixtures and finishes. We adopt a very human-centric approach to what we do, ensuring life in the home happens effortlessly and with vibrancy.”
The homes will feature intuitive and space-efficient floorplans, with open plan living, smart storage solutions, an emphasis on natural light and ventilation and energy efficient inclusions.
“In a true partnership approach, Shavida’s team of professionals guide buyers throughout every stage of the purchasing and building process, and long after they move in,” said Seguchi.
Shavida homeowners will be eligible for exclusive Sekisui House Rewards, including earning a 1% rebate on the price of their second Shavida property, or a 1.5% on third and subsequent purchases.
“Buyers will have access to our sales, customer service, construction, interior design and colour experts to ensure a seamless journey,” concluded Seguchi.
