A 40-acre rural estate in the Byron Bay Hinterland is expecting to bring in $30 million from high-flying buyers.
307-331 Coolamon Scenic Drive in Coorabel, is reportedly already catching the eye of both international and local buyers, with its eight separate homes and enviable location above Byron Bay, with views from the mountains to Cape Byron.
“We expect this unique property to attract the attention of tech entrepreneurs, investment bankers and even Hollywood actors given its seclusion and privacy yet proximity to the delights of holiday mecca Byron Bay,” said Lorenzo Badalotti, CEO at Raine & Horne Elite who is managing the sale of the property, via an expressions of interest campaign.
The estate is a 15-minute drive out from Byron and a 10-minute drive to both Bangalow and Mullumbimby, with the property comprising three separate block and a main master-built residence.
“This fantastic property is close to Bryon Bay, yet far enough away from the hustle or bustle of the famous holiday mecca. The estate offers its owner the flexibility of having their extended family living with them, or they could sell off parts of the three blocks for a tidy sum down the track,” added Badalotti.
This main residence is a three-story recently renovated Mediterranean-style home with four-bedrooms and a study, including the master-suite and its spa ensuite.
The residence amenities include two theatre rooms, a gym, wine cellar, several large Moroccan-style lounge areas, a pool and helicopter landing pad.
While the remaining dwellings also include pools, natural creeks and a waterhole, in addition to ample green space.
“There are so many options available to buyers, whether to utilise the property for personal use or even as a commercial resort close to Byron Bay. With the spotlight on Bryon Bay, a property of this magnitude appeals to many types of buyers and represents the high point for lifestyle and serenity in this famous region,” said Badalotti.
Badalotti also noted that he has already received 20 enquiries from interested parties, with multiple inspections also booked.
“We have seen several smaller estates in the Byron Bay Hinterland attract price tags of $15 – $20 million, so we expect this superior property to attract $25-30 million, especially as overseas buyer expressions of interest start to filter in,” concluded Badalotti.
