OXFORD Properties’ Parkline Place in Sydney has secured a new tenant in Insignia Financial, in one of the largest leasing deals of the year.
Insignia Financial has signed up to 8,847sqm across six levels of the tower, in addition to signage rights on the top of the building.
Located at 252 Pitt Street, the fully-electric commercial building, is co-owned by Oxford Properties and Mitsubishi Estate Asia and managed and delivered by Investa.
Parkline Place will be a premium 39-storey tower, with 47,839sqm of office space across 30 levels and 1,285sqm of hospitality and retail.
“The move to Parkline Place brings our CBD and North Sydney employees together for the first time in a landmark location. The sustainability and wellbeing credentials of the building, along with the integration with Sydney Metro will provide our people and clients with a central and accessible environment and superior facilities,” said Frank Lombardo, chief operating and technology officer at Insignia Financial.
“The individuality of our people is what makes us who we are so it was important to us our space anticipates needs and encourages collaboration and innovation so we can deliver better, together, and we know Parkline Place will deliver on this.”
Insignia Financial joins global accounting, tax and advisory services firm, BDO, and the NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) at the building, with all three leasing deals amongst the most significant deals in the Sydney CBD since the end of the lockdown era of the pandemic.
“We are very pleased to welcome Insignia Financial as tenants of Parkline Place. Parkline Place is now majority precommitted, after successfully securing three of the largest Sydney CBD post-covid leasing deals and we have strong interest in the balance of space,” said Mark Podgornik, head of leasing at Investa.
“The workplace has evolved and so have tenant expectations about what’s needed in today’s hybrid working environment to support employee health, as well as individual and team performance. Parkline Place clearly demonstrates that not only is the ‘flight to quality’ still playing out, but it is defined by exceptional, adaptable workplaces that offer an ecosystem of connection, wellbeing and productivity.”
Parkline Place was designed by world-renowned architects Foster + Partners and is being delivered by CPB Contractors.
Insignia Financial has appointed a head contractor in Hunter Mason, who has partnered with The Studio Collaborative and DBS Consulting to create a new fit-out across levels 16 to 21.
