A GOLD Coast residential development offering two living spaces in its one and two-bedroom apartments has notched up $40 million in sales in just four weeks.
The elevated development, Ombré at Robina, located at 46 Scottsdale Drive, features 95 one, two and three-bedroom apartments alongside private resident amenities and integrated retail and commercial spaces.
Immerse Projects founder and managing director John Kearney said typically, one-bedroom apartments appeal to investors rather than owner occupiers and “feature little in the way of space and liveability”.
“We have designed Ombré with the local market in mind and in doing so, challenged ourselves to rethink one- bedroom apartment design – the result is an additional, spacious living area, that delivers functionality and flexibility, without compromising on price.
“This second living space is located directly at the entrance to the apartment, drawing in extra light and a feeling of openness. Connecting to the kitchen, this extra space has a range of applications to make it truly purposeful, including a media room, work from home space, or guest bedroom.”
One-bedroom, two living area floor plans range from 84 sqm to 96 sqm, and from 123 sqm to 135sqm in the two- bedroom, two living area apartments.
“Since the project’s launch in early March we have fielded more than 1,000 enquiries and more than $40 million in sales, with strong interest in these second living spaces.”
Contract builder Greyburn, of which Kearney is also managing director, has been appointed to deliver the project. The company recently delivered Robina Grand.
Construction of Ombré is expected to begin later this month. The project is being marketed by Ashwin Property and the on-site sales display is now open.
Colliers’ latest Gold Coast Residential Market Report data shows that at just 236, the number of new apartment sales in the three months to the end of December was the second-lowest of any quarter in the past three years.
