Stockland has received approval for a $142m over-55s community in the Busselton suburb of Vasse.
Located along Rendezvous Road, the proposed Halcyon Vasse community will contain 214 detached homes on a 14-hectare site.
Plans call for six house designs of varying roof types and exterior colour schemes, with lot sizes from 231 sq m to 465 sq m. It would also include a 1,500 sq m community centre as well as a wellness centre containing a pool, spa, gym, yoga room and treatment facilities.
The approval marks Stockland’s third land lease community in Western Australia, with Halcyon Wildflower, Piara Waters and Halcyon Illyarrie, Sinagra. Both communities are near Perth.
Stockland project director Andrew Wallis said Halcyon Vasse would provide another housing option for those over 55 looking to experience the South West region’s iconic lifestyle.
“Our focus at Halcyon Vasse is to create a vibrant and active community designed for over 55s where homeowners feel connected and have access to quality facilities on their doorstep.
“The community provides a convenient lock-and-leave lifestyle so homeowners can choose to spend more time travelling, socialising, and enjoying what the region has to offer.”
