BECTON Property Group has announced that non-executive director Bob Critchley will retire following the annual general meeting on 25 November 2011.
Chairman Bill Conn thanked Critchley for his contribution for more than 10 years.
“He made a significant contribution to the evolution of Becton from a private development and construction business through to its listing on the ASX as a diversified property company.
“More recently, he has provided wise counsel and stable support throughout the restructuring phase. All of us wish him well for the future,” he added.
Critchley will not be replaced.
Conn said in light of the reduced size and complexity of the business over the last two years, and the appointment of Jack Crumlin to the board in July, it would not be in the best interests to appoint an additional director at this time.
