THE 1,619-hectare Boorameel agricultural station has sold after passing in at auction for $5.87 million.
The property, at 9698 Roma-Condamine Road in Condamine in Queensland’s Darling Downs region, was marketed by Ray White Rural’s Bruce Douglas on behalf John and Michelle Brodie and their daughters Annie and Nell.
The Nixon family from Yuleba purchased the site.
The cropping operation was previously used as a backgrounding and fattening operation, and has a carrying capacity of 4,000 head of cattle.
It comprises an artesian bore supplying system of troughs, grain-handling complex, grain shed, silos, steel cattle yards, undercover working area, floodlights, double-deck loading ramp, hydraulically-operated crush and drafting race.
Improvements also include a four-bedroom home and three-bedroom worker’s cottage.
