HUDSON Investment Group has been given the greenlight on its Bowen Hills development in Queensland.
The 2025sqm 41-47 Brookes Street, in the Brisbane fringe suburb, development site received priority development application from the minister for economic development Queensland.
The PDA is approved subject to development conditions, with the PDA utilising the mixed-use precinct, demolishing the existing industrial and office buildings. Cottee Parker Architects were the lead architects on the project.
The existing buildings will be replaced by a new 24-storey mixed use building that will include a commercial office space, short term accommodation, food and drink outlet, functions facility, community use area and childcare centre.
The site includes dual frontage on opposite ends of Brookes Street and Exhibition Street and is located within close proximity to public transport, the RNA showgrounds, neighbourhood centres, high-density offices, short stay accommodation and residential precincts.
