A PARTIALLY completed residential development site on almost 4 ha of land at Brendale on Brisbane’s north side has been sold by Ray White Special Projects Queensland for $4.2 million.
The site on the corner of Stanley St and Leitchs Rd Brendale was sold to a private South East Queensland development company, Barooga Projects, following a tender campaign by Ray White Special Projects Queensland directors Tony Williams and Mark Creevey on behalf of Bentleys as liquidators.
Williams said the campaign attracted solid nationwide interest which resulted in 34 enquiries and six formal offers for the approximately 3.72 ha site.
Barooga projects director Malcolm Allsopp was expected to refurbish a partially completed part of the site, which includes 58 one bedroom units.
Creevey said the site is near the New Base Enterprise Park and within 1km of Strathpine Railway Station and 2km from Westfield Strathpine shopping centre and Strathpine business precinct.
He said there was potential for an additional 52 townhouses in the balance of the development site, which is zoned medium density.
