TOWNSVILLE property developer, Maidment Group, has sold 50% of luxury apartments in the Marina Residences development less than two weeks after its launch.
With prices starting from $2.7 million there was notable interest from buyers in South East Queensland and interstate.
Designed by renowned Bureau Proberts, Marina Residences is located at the end of Mariner’s Peninsula on The Strand. Offering 18 apartments, it is the first luxury waterfront apartment development in Townsville in nearly a decade.
“This early success in sales reflects the pent-up demand for high-end residential properties in the Townsville Market,” said Bruce Goddard, director of Place Projects who is marketing the project.
“Marina Residences represents one of the last remaining opportunities to purchase a luxury waterfront property, in a market that has been severely undersupplied for a long time.
“We are seeing significant interest from local downsizers looking to move off their larger properties, without sacrificing quality or lifestyle. We’re also witnessing a surge of interest from buyers in South East Queensland and interstate, who not only recognise the exceptional value this development offers but are eager to secure a place quickly,” he added.
“Buyers have been incredibly excited about the level of luxury and convenience that Marina Residences offers,” said Glen Maidment, managing director of Maidment Group.
