CULT fashion retailer Coco & Lola continues to expand and chosen to remain within Hawksburn Village by leasing space at 597 Malvern Rd.
Fitzroys James Spencer negotiated the five-year lease of the 260 sqm retail space, formerly home to Brown’s Antiques for nearly 40 years, with a five-year option, at $170,000 per annum on behalf of a private owner.
Established in Perth in 2010, Coca & Lola is on the expansion path, having just opened a Sydney store in Double Bay. It will be moving from their current smaller premises across the road.
Spencer said Hawksburn Village’s enviable affluent catchment, including blue-ribbon Toorak, has underpinned strong specialty trading in the area, fostering one of Melbourne’s most successful and resilient boutique fashion hubs.
“Quality spaces of this character rarely become available in the prime of Hawksburn Village,” he said. “It’s great to see Coco & Lola expand into this flagship retail property coming off the back of an increased following for their offering.”
