CIMIC Group’s company CPB Contractors has been selected by the New South Wales government to deliver stage two of the Campbelltown Hospital redevelopment, which is expected to generate revenue of $424 million to CPB Contractors.
Construction has commenced on the state government funded project and is expected to be complete by mid 2023. The $134 million first stage was completed three years ago and opened in 2017.
Stage two of development will expand key clinical and support services with a new 12-storey building, and integrates and expands mental health facilities and paediatric facilities.
The works include a new clinical services building with modern wards and patient facilities, enhanced medical and surgical children’s services, modern mental health units, women’s health services, including a birthing and maternity ward, operating theatres and intensive care unit, and emergency department with more treatment spaces.

CIMIC has an infrastructure project pipeline that includes the Cross River Rail tunnel in Brisbane and the Logan Motorway project, WestConnex in Sydney, and the West Gate Tunnel project in Melbourne.
