KNIGHT Frank has expanded its Queensland footprint to seven offices across the state with a new Sunshine Coast franchise office, as successful boutique commercial agency Luxe Commercial rebrands to Knight Frank.
Luxe Commercial, which will now trade as Knight Frank Sunshine Coast, has been operating in the Sunshine Coast region since 2015.
“The Sunshine Coast has experienced huge growth in recent years, and there is more to come,” said Dominic Long, Queensland managing director at Knight Frank.
“This has created great opportunities in the commercial property market, which is seeing increased demand from occupiers and investors.”
The agency will be led by agent Chris Sales, with a team of six people.
“Chris is a very experienced and skilled operator, with more than 15 years’ experience in the industry, and having established his own commercial agency more than nine years ago,” added Long.
“He is also very highly regarded as an agent in the region and has extensive networks both locally and nationally.”
“We are excited to welcome Chris and the team to Knight Frank, and expand our Queensland presence to the Sunshine Coast.”
The new Knight Frank team will include agents Matthew Beaumont and Isaac Jurgs, Shannan Murphy in property management, general manager Brianne Mayne and executive assistant Lisa Korrelvink.
“We’re excited to scale our already successful agency to the next level with a global brand that has strong coverage throughout the world as well as nationally,” said Sales.
“Demand for commercial property services on the Sunshine Coast continues to strengthen, largely driven by major infrastructure projects.
Located at Level 5, 8 Maroochydore Road in Maroochydore, the office will deliver services across each commercial property sector, including industrial, retail, office, medical and development sites in sales, leasing and asset management.
The franchise will also cover an expansive area from the central Sunshine Coast right up north to Maryborough, west to Toowoomba and south to Brisbane.
“Our valued clients will benefit from Knight Frank’s wide network, with access to a greater number of buyers and tenants complementing the personalised service we provide,” added Sales.
“It will also provide both our clients and team with the access to more knowledge, expertise and support that comes from having offices all around Australia and internationally. The backing of a global brand will also be beneficial in attracting and retaining the right talent to service our valued clients.”
Back in March, Knight Frank and Bayleys acquired listed real estate agency McGrath Limited, while in February Knight Frank reportedly dissolved its residential project sales team amid the slowdown in housing construction.
