SPANNING 1,925sqm of retail and commercial space, part of the recently completed mixed-use development The Harrington Collection, has hit the market with a price guide of circa $35 million.
Comprising a whole floor 1,016sqm commercial office and eight retail tenancies across 909sqm, 85 Harrington Street sits in The Rocks precinct at immediate north west edge of the Sydney CBD.
Miron Solomons and Matt Pontey from Colliers, alongside Steffan Ippolito and Dimitrios Franze from IB Property have been appointed to manage the sale of the property, on behalf of vendors Golden Age Group and Hannas.
“The Harrington Collection blends contemporary living with premium retail and iconic characteristics of the historical neighbourhood. The offering provides 1,925sqm of retail and commercial space across two levels, the major of which has street frontage and standalone access,” said Solomons.
85 Harrington Street benefits from the precinct’s placement by the Sydney Harbour and is surrounded by amenities, , including the major upgrades of the Circular Quay transport and tourism hub.
“With the return of cruise ships to Circular Quay, we should see a major rise in activity in the region,” added Solomons.
Circular Quay is a planned recipient of a new “water Square” as outlined in the City of Sydney’s, Sustainable Sydney 2030-2050 Continuing the Vision, which is set to see the city recover and thrive in the wake of the global pandemic.
“The Harrington Collection blends the history of The Rocks with a modern reinvention that presents the opportunity to unlock the true potential of this exciting precinct. Positioned in one of the CBD’s most famous locations, it benefits from billions of dollars invested in the immediate precinct,” said Ippolito.
The expressions of interest campaign for 85 Harrington Street is set to close 9 June 2022.
