IWG’s foray into the Australian market continues to burgeon with a new hybrid working location in Western Australia.
Brands Spaces and Regus have teamed up with IWG to open the new flexible workspace in Nedlands.
The company has a commitment to add 1000 new locations globally over the next year including 40 in Australia. This comes as a result of increasing demand for hybrid working solutions in modern times. There’s been high demand for workspaces in Nedlands and the three-storey building will quench the suburb’s thirst.
Spaces Nedlands sits on Stirling Highway. The state-of-the-art workspace will open up space for establish firms and start-ups across a range of industries.
It will include facilities such as private offices, meeting rooms, co-working and creative spaces. It will also feature a rooftop sky lounge.
The global leader in hybrid working, IWG has worked with a multitude of large companies to bring their work model to thousands of locations worldwide.
They have previously teamed up with the likes of Microsoft, Disney and Spotify.
Hybrid working became the new norm during the pandemic, with some offices opting to continue down that path as a result of an increase in staff morale.
IWG continues to assist businesses heading in these directions. Hybrid working offers companies a significantly lower cost base, saving an average $11k per employee.
“We are expanding our footprint in Western Australia with our latest commitment for Spaces Nedlands,” Damian Sheehan, IWG country head Australia says.
“In other markets like the United States, we are seeing an increasing demand for fully integrated residential and commercial spaces, which have worked well. Now in Australia, we are starting to see this trend emerge and this new Spaces centre in the highly regarded western suburb of Nedlands is a great example.”
Project Solutions which bought the property in 2019 says they are keen to see IWG’s vision come to fruition.
Tania Sydney-Smith, “We’re excited to partner with IWG for the upcoming opening of Spaces Nedlands,” said director Tania Sydney-Smith.
“When we purchased the property in 2019, we had a vision to develop the space in a way that encouraged collaboration and productivity amongst the people within it. It’s great to see this vision come to life working alongside IWG, who really understand the world of hybrid work and that shows in the new space. “
“In true partnership, IWG has been as fast paced and functional as our own team, bringing a commercial eye to our design. Their support has been instrumental in creating a bespoke design, layout, systems, and pre-sales. We’re looking forward to completing our joint vision on this project, and to continue working alongside the IWG team to manage Spaces Nedlands, a much-awaited facility locally.”
