ASX-listed Lantern Hotel Group has put its popular Crown Hotel in Sydney’s Surry Hills to the market with hopes of realising up to $30 million.
The four-level Victorian building comprises 30 gaming machines and eight guest suites.
Positioned on the corner of Crown Street and Cleveland Street, it holds a 24-hour liquor licence and is located outside of the city’s controversial lock-out area.
The Crown Hotel is the latest to be offered as part of Lantern’s divestment of its hospitality assets as it prepares to de-list the company, and follows the group’s sale of the Five Dock Hotel in Sydney’s inner-west for $28.5 million and the Waterworks in Botany for $17.2 million November.
It is being offered for sale by Ray White Hotels Australia and CBRE by an expressions of interest campaign.
