ABA Group’s Princeton-backed $98 million One Place residential project in Villawood, NSW is now complete.
1 Villawood Place, sitting 22km west of the Sydney CBD, comprises 161 one-, two- and three-bedroom residential apartments, with retail space at the ground level.
The Tony Owen-designed project was at first only approved for 119 apartments, before ABA Group successfully pitched an additional 42 residences to the council throughout the construction phase of the development.
According to George Gadallah and Craig Anderson, founders of Princeton who acted as financiers to the project, One place comes as demand for such accommodation grows in the Villawood market.
“We are thrilled to have contributed to the revitalisation and transformation of Villawood, which is emerging as one of Western Sydney’s quickest growing and most desirable suburbs to live in,” Gadallah.
One Place sits within a 4 min walk of the Villawood Train Station and just a 2 min walk to the Villawood Town Centre, as well as 8km or a 20 minute drive to the Parramatta CBD.
Last month, One Place received a full occupation certificate reflecting the physical completion of all construction works at the site.
“One Place is the crown jewel in a new wave of sleek modern apartments, including the previously Princeton financed “888 Project” in 2020, that has helped to reinvigorate interest and rejuvenate the area,” added Gadallah.
Settlements for the apartments pre-sold at One Place have now commenced.
