AUSTRALIAN rural property and agribusiness leader, LAWD’s Danny Thomas has splashed out $13 million on an off-the-plan penthouse in the St Kilda Road Park Quarter apartment project.
The DKO Architecture-designed penthouse includes a private rooftop terrace and pool and is one of four launched at the Sunnyland Investment Development Group (SIDG) project.
SIDG’s $170 million Park Quarter is located between Fawkner and Albert Park at 474 St Kilda Road, spanning 18-levels and comprising 244 residential apartments alongside hotel-branded serviced apartments, with a project value in excess of $400 million.
Henry Burbury, director at LAWD, managed the sale of the north west-facing penthouse on behalf of Thomas, senior director at LAWD who specialises in large agricultural and farm sales.
Park Quarter is more than 60% sold, with SIDG in the final stages of appointing a builder for the project, that is scheduled to commence construction in 2025 and to be completed in mid-2026.
The building has been designed by COX Architecture, with interiors by DKO.
The residential component will start at level six, sitting above a Marriott Executive Apartment offering, one of the first of its kind in the country.
Residents will have access to hotel amenity such as a pool, sauna and gym via a club membership subscription in addition to exclusive resident amenities.
This will include a 24/7 concierge, a pool, gym, co-working spaces, theatre room and a golf simulator, plus pet wash room, mud room equipped with high pressure wash machine, and smart parcel lockers.
