THE US$54 billion Starwood Capital has teamed up with Sydney-based Arrow Property and Perth’s Pindan Group to buy a St Leonards office building for $160 million, as the American giant eyes a number of assets.
The trio have bought 29-57 Christie St in St Leonards, an 18,000 sqm office which will be managed by Arrow and Pindan.
Starwood Capital managing director Kevin Colket said this is its first investment in Sydney and Australia is an attractive growth market for the group.
“We have already targeted a pipeline of potential properties in the major Australian markets and will continue to make additional investments into the country over the near term,” Colket said.
