Regional Group has bought the Churchill Office Park in Ottawa, RENX reported.
The 183,000 sq ft building, at 1600 Carling Avenue, was sold by Manulife Investment Management for an undisclosed price. The property is 19% vacant, and Regional aims to lease the 35,000 sq ft of available space, according to the report.
The property encompasses three interlinked octagonal towers that rise six, seven and eight storeys. The property was originally built as the headquarters of global technology firm Corel. Current tenants include wealth management, accounting, law and healthcare firms.
Amenities include car charging stations, a car wash and 500 parking spaces, including 200 underground spots. It’s close to a transit corridor and near Highway 417.
