CBRE Group and Brookfield Properties are expanding their strategic partnership for managing office properties to Canada.
Under the brand Brookfield Properties Operated by CBRE, the companies will team up to provide property management services for Brookfield’s Canadian office holdings in Toronto and Calgary. Those services include building operations, property accounting and procurement.
“This group caters to property owners seeking property management services through improved operational consistency, cost-effectiveness and portfolio-level approaches to sustainability, data collection and management, accounting, customer experience, lease administration and building technology,” CBRE said in a statement.
The expansion marks the partnership’s first foray outside the U.S.
The joint venture was originally launched in January to oversee Brookfield’s 65m sq ft U.S. office portfolio.
