A two storey Victorian terrace comprising six principal rooms suited for either commercial or residential use was sold under the hammer by Sutherland Farrelly for $562,000, well above reserve.
The property on the CBD’s edge– featured in Australian Property Journal recently, is situated at 343 William Street, West Melbourne.
The unrenovated Victorian terrace was hotly contested with more than 50 bids received, being eventually knocked down to an owner occupier.
Located on the CBD fringe at the top end of William Street, the property is conveniently located close to Flagstaff Gardens, the Queen Victoria Market and Docklands precinct.
A major selling feature of the property was the provision of off street parking via a lock up garage accessed via a right of way.
Sutherland Farrelly’s Michael Major said that the property was highly sought after by both commercial and residential users, noting its flexible Mixed Use zoning and ease of access to Melbourne’s CBD and Docklands precinct.
