PERTH based developer, the ABN Goup, has paid $3.6 million for a development site in Melbourne's Southbank.
The site has a development permit for a building project and was offered under mortgagee’s instruction by agents DTZ in conjunction with Lemon Baxter.
Located at 81 Lorimer St, the property has a street frontage of 45.13 metres and a land area of 3,535 sqm.
At the time of the auction it held an approved development permit for a 23 level building comprising offices, restricted retail space and self storage facilities together with on site car parking.
Lemon Baxter director Paul O’Sullivan said ABN is planning to build an office project for their own occupancy on the site.
The single title property holds a Business 3 zoning under the City of Melbourne Planning Scheme and represents the only site currently available in the area holding this zoning.
