CLARENCE Property has secured Spanos IGA supermarket as the new anchor tenant at its $30 million Easy T Centre in Robina on the Gold Coast.
The independent retailer will move into a 1,000sqm space currently operated by Aldi, on a 15-year term with trade expected to commence in November.
Darrell Irwin of Colliers International negotiated the deal.
The 5,880sqm Easy T Centre comprises 30 retail tenancies, as well as commercial space leased to the Queensland Government and Vision Australia, and a medical precinct anchored by Easy T Medical and supporting medical services.
Irwin said Spanos IGA seized the opportunity to capitalise on the growth in Robina and the prime location on offer at the Easy T Centre.
“There is significant residential growth occurring in Easy T’s immediate catchment area, including the the nearby City Village development and more apartments proposed for land adjoining the centre,” he said.
The Spanos Group currently own and operate three IGA supermarkets on the Gold Coast.
