WHEADONS Freight Management & ERH Refrigerated Transport has signed a 10-year lease over a purpose-built truck depot in Melbourne’s Truganina.
The freight management company will pay $450,000 per annum net plus GST for the 34-36 Banfield Court property, and has purchased an adjoining 12,100sqm block of land for addition truck parking.
The 5,500sqm facility comprises a dual workshop with service pits, a large high clearance warehouse accessed by six recessed loading docks, five on grade roller doors and state of the art offices.
Wheadons is relocating from its 2,000sqm building in Ajax Road, Altona.
CBRE’s Todd Grima negotiated the deal, saying Wheadons Freight Management & ERH Refrigerated Transport required a much larger depot to allow for their rapid growth and expansion plans.
“The new purpose built facility, built by Pelligra Group, is designed specifically around the tenant’s operations.” Grima said.
