Realstar is set to name Randy Hoffman as chief executive, effective May 5, Green Street News can reveal.
Hoffman is joining Realstar from Oxford Properties, where he headed up U.S. operations as executive vice president. In that position, Hoffman led a team of 200 professionals, overseeing investments, asset management, operations and development across all major asset classes in North America. He worked at Oxford for almost 20 years.
Hoffman will be based out of Realstar’s Toronto office.
At Realstar, Hoffman will lead the continued expansion of the company’s Canadian multifamily investment platform, pursue development opportunities and explore alternative residential sectors, such as student and manufactured housing.
Founders and co-chairs Jonas Prince and Wayne Squibb will remain with Realstar to provide high-level strategic guidance.
