A PRIME development site at Bentleigh in Melbourne's inner south-east has been snapped up by a developer for $2.2 million.
Located at 15 Bent St, the 850 sqm property was sold with a permit for 17 apartments.
Savills’ Julian Heatherich and Jesse Radisich said the property sold on the very strong rate of $2,588 per sqm for the land and at $129,412 per unit based on the permit.
“The sale price represents an extremely good rate per sqm and for the units and reinforces the market’s appetite for well located suburban development sites in terrific locations,” Heatherich said.
He added that the sale represented the fifth in Bent St totalling more than $17 million in the last 12 months.
