A VACANT landholding adjacent to Wollongong’s Port Kembla Golf Club is set to make way for a landscape-changing commercial development.
But given the versatility of the 8,615 sqm site, that won’t be made clearer until a buyer emerges.
The Lot 1, Golf Place property in Primbee is zoned SP3 Tourist, allowing for commercial shops, childcare centres, tourist and visitor accommodation, with a height allowance of up to nine metres and a floor space ratio of 1.5:1.
The surrounding area predominantly residential, recreational and environmental.
Savills’ Robert Lowe and WHK Commercial’s James Egan are offering the property via expressions of interest closing December 7th.
“Primbee is a popular and growing area with strong local demand and market uplift, making this an exceptional development opportunity, conveniently located within close proximity to numerous schools, hospitals, parks and major retail centres,” Lowe said.
The Illawarra region’s population is expected to grow by more than 50,000 to 465,400 by 2031.
