REAL estate investor and manager, Cromwell Property Group has appointed Jialei Tang as a new non-executive director.
The appointment of Tang as a non-independent non-executive director takes the composition of the Cromwell board to seven non-executive directors, five of whom are independent.
Tang has real estate experience in investments, property and asset management, architecture and urbanism, which she has gained across diverse markets in Singapore, the United States and China. She has been actively involved in the evaluation, acquisition and planning of seaport terminal real estate and the development of the new UBS Singapore headquarters and the 1468-unit Parc Clematis residential complex in Singapore.
Since 2019, Tang has been the chief executive officer of Silver City Properties, LLC, a residential property investment and management company in the United States which owns and manages properties in New York. She took on the role of director at Ariva Hospitality Pte. Ltd., a hospitality management company in the same year.
“With the recent appointments of independent non-executive directors Mr Rob Blain and Mr Ooi Eng Peng, and now also Ms Jialei Tang, the Cromwell board is well placed to progress the exciting opportunities before it, including identifying and working with new capital partners across Asia Pacific and Europe,” Cromwell chair, Gary Weiss said.
