A PRIVATE developer has bought an industrial property development site at Derrimut in Melbourne's west, in a deal negotiated by Colliers International.
Located at 169 Australis Drive Derrimut, approximately 18km west of the Melbourne CBD, the property was sold for $4.65 million through private after auction.
Agents Nathan Bingham and Stephen Newsham sold the property on behalf of vendor Booth Transport.
Located within the West Park industrial estate, the site comprises a land area of 5.6ha or 56,000 sqm and is zoned Industrial 1 and its surrounding neighbours include Mitre 10 and CEVA.
“The purchaser has acquired the land with the intention of opening the door for pre-lease opportunities.
“The land will be developed as a major distribution centre within the next 12 months,” Bingham said.
