A 3.5-hectare site in Clyde has sold, with the future non-government primary school site earmarked as part of the Evergreen masterplanned community.
Located at 121 Bellavita Avenue, the Evergreen school site in Clyde is located around 48km south-east of the Melbourne CBD and is designated for a non-government primary school within the approved Cardinia Creek South PSP.
Paul Callanan, Darcy Tobin and Peter Sagar from LAWD managed the sale of the property via an expressions of interest campaign.
Agents from LAWD declined to comment on the sale price, but industry sources have the settle transaction at $11.55 million.
The Evergreen masterplanned community is currently under development by Stockland, which will include almost 300 homes in the Stockland Halcyon Evergreen community, the group’s over 50s lifestyle offering.
Stockland will also deliver around 280 homes in its $203 million Halcyon Jardin in Clyde North.
With each Halcyon community to include central amenities such as a pool, fully equipped gym, health and wellness centre, recreational clubhouse and bar facilities, cinemas, walking tracks, bowling greens, pickleball courts, and a shared community Tesla car.
While significant investment has also been made into the area by major Australian developers including Balcon, Brown Property Group and Frasers Property Group.
The property will also benefit from future infrastructure develop nearby, such as the extension of Bells Road into the Princes Freeway.
The school site will be supported by Melbourne’s rapidly expanding south-east corridor.
