BRITZ campervan business founder Gunther Gschwenter has put the 101,850-hectare Scott Creek Station in the Northern Territory to the market with expectations of $12 million.
Scott Creek was one of several Top End cattle stations held by the Sultan Brunei for more than two decades, which also included the East and West Mathison Stations, before selling them in 2006 while retaining a number of other Northern Territory properties.
Gschwenter acquired Scott Creek in 2008, and has listed the asset as part of a gradual divestment of his assets.
The Gschwenter family has also listed Mary River West, hoping for $4.5 million, and late in 2016 sold off the 187,300-hectare Ban Ban Springs Station for more than $10 million. Gschwenter sold off the Britz business to New Zealand’s Tourism Holdings in 2000 for $50 million.
