THE Byford Tavern in Perth’s south eastern suburbs has hit the market as Cedar Woods undertakes a large residential subdivision on opposite side of the South Western Highway.
The tavern brings around $6 million each year and is prominently positioned on a 4,313 sqm site on the corner of Abernethy Road, and comprises a large bistro, sports bar, drive-through bottle shop, TAB and alfresco area.
It was rebuilt in 2011 after being destroyed by a fire the previous year that caused an estimated $2.5 million of damage.
CBRE’s Ryan McGinnity and Chloe Mason are marketing the property via offers to purchase on a walk in walk out basis.
“This modern tavern currently turns over in excess of $100,000 per week. Given its fantastic exposure on the corner of South West Highway and Abernethy Road, the venue will continue to achieve strong revenue as a focal point of this growing suburb,” McGinnity said.
