ZIGGY’S Eatery is making its first expansion from its Carlisle St Balaclava site, signing up for a 140 sqm premises in South Melbourne’s Coventry Street.
The hamburger house signed a five-year deal with a five-year option over 263 Coventry Street at circa $75,000 per annum net.
Teska Carson’s Luke Bisset and Fergus Evans negotiated the lease on behalf of a private investor.
The property has open-plan 52-seat, café configuration, liquor licence, and first-floor space.
“This property was ideal for Ziggy’s not simply due to the current café configuration but also the prime location on the best known street in one of Melbourne’s favourite inner suburbs,” Bisset said. “It will facilitate an easy set up process for an experienced lessee within a growing market.”
Evans said the property’s Union Street corner site offered excellent frontage and exposure to leafy Coventry Street while the central location provided easy accessibility to public transport.
