KRP Properties president Martin Vandewouw is retiring and will be replaced by Terry Young.
Vandewouw is stepping down from the Kanata, Ont.-based office leasing company on May 2, when Young, currently vice president of operations, will take the reins.
In Vandewouw’s 23 years leading the firm, KRP doubled its real estate portfolio and diversified its tenant base, the company said.
Young has been with KRP since 2013, overseeing the growth of the property management department and the integration of new office portfolios.
Young is recognized locally for his expertise in ESG and environmental stewardship, the company said.
