ARIA Land has unveiled its new West Quarter apartment development in West Perth, which will be one of the first new projects eligible for the state government’s new transfer duty rebate.
Construction is expected to begin next on the 14-level project with 60 apartments, located on Colin Street and designed by architects Hassell.
The 75% transfer duty rebate of up to $50,000 will benefit purchasers of new, muti-tiered residential apartments that have not yet started construction, should they sign pre-construction contracts.
Knight Frank has been appointed as selling agent.
The development is targeting buyers of larger apartments within a smaller development. There are only four apartments per floor in the tower and six apartments per floor in the podium.
Prices start from $479,000. Configurations on offer including a one bedroom residence with separate study; two bedroom, one bathroom (with or without study); three bedroom residences and two penthouses.
The smallest one bedroom apartment has a 63 sqm internal strata living area, plus a 35 sqm terrace area. Most of the 18 podium apartments have a terrace area from 24 sqm to 94 sqm.
Previous Aria Land projects include Freshwater in Claremont, and the company was development manager for Echelon in South Perth and Ten Bellevue in West Perth.
West Quarter is on the route of the free CAT bus service to the CBD and a few minutes’ walk from the West Perth train station, and the location is within walking distance to King’s Park and the CBD is served by the Hay St retail and cafe strip, and a wide range of nearby restaurants.
