BECTON has bolstered its team with the appointment of Sandra Schilling from Centro and Jim Hazel, the former managing director of Primelife to the company.
Schilling has joined the Becton as chief information officer, following a 10-year tenure at Centro Properties Group with the last four as CIO.
Hazel has joined as a non-executive chairman on Becton Living Board.
Becton Living is Becton’s Retirement business that already owns and operates three villages in Victoria and New South Wales and is planning to expand its scale significantly with 3 new villages in development.
Becton’s chief executive Hamish Macdonald said the appointment of Schilling and Hazel comes just weeks after Becton announced that John O’Grady had joined Becton to head up acquisitions in Becton’s Development business.
“Over the past 12 months we have realigned our structure and team to focus all parts of the business on generating total shareholder return.
“We have employed new people with significant public company experience to underpin the full integration of operations and to structure Becton for future sustainable growth,” Macdonald concluded.
