CB Richard Ellis has set it sights on the fast growing South East Queensland residential sector by teaming up with Litfin Project Marketing.
Litfin is a Gold Coast residential project marketing firm founded last year by Chris Litfin.
Under a new agreement, the Litfin team will join the CBRE’s Gold Coast business.
CBRE’s Australia & New Zealand president Tom Southern said the move followed the firm’s successful launch last year into residential project marketing with the acquisition of the Sydney-based Realty Marketing and Abadeen Realty Groups, now known as CBRE Residential Projects.
CBRE Gold Coast’s managing director Mark Witheriff said the highly regarded Litfin Project Marketing team was presently involved in a series of high profile projects, among them Amalgamated Property Group’s Element, Ivory and Sierra Grand Developments.
Prior to establishing Litfin Project Marketing, Litfin was director of project marketing for the Gold Coast Corporate Office of PRDnationwide (now Colliers PRD) – a company at which he occupied various roles over a period of 18 years.
Litfin said the Gold Coast residential market had become increasingly global – hence the decision to join forces with CBRE.
The Litfin team will form part of CBRE’s Residential Projects division, which is headed by David Milton and is the first step in its eastern seaboard expansion.
The division focuses on all aspects of the residential development market, from site evaluation and project feasibility studies through the sales of apartments to investors and owner occupiers.
CBRE Residential Projects is presently involved in a series of high profile Sydney residential developments, including The Onslow and Grantham projects in Potts Point, North and Alchemy at Milsons Point and Pacifc Square at Maroubra.
