THE former Matilda Bay Brewing site in North Fremantle, Perth has been snapped up by a Chinese developer for $36 million.
Knight Frank’s John Corbett sold the 2.9172 ha site at 130 Stirling Hwy North Fremantle, on behalf of the McGilvray family.
The site is currently zoned industrial, however the City of Fremantle have initiated the re-zoning to development.
Corbett said the site occupies a high profile corner location having good accessibility in the prestigious Perth western suburbs.
He pointed out that the neighbouring land, on a similar sized site, has planning consent for approximately 233 apartments plus 815 sqm of office accommodation.
