CIMIC Group and CPB Contractors subsidiary Broad Construction has been selected by the Queensland government to deliver stages one and two of the new Inner City South State Secondary College in Brisbane.
The project will generate about $110 million in revenue to the CIMIC Group. Works are expected begin shortly and be completed in 2021.
The new facilities include learning and creative hubs, multipurpose hall, administration and staff centre, canteen, and health and wellbeing hub, plaza, outdoor areas, outdoor court, car park, pick up and drop off zone and end of trip facilities.
“We look forward to working closely with the Queensland Department of Education to deliver a world class teaching and learning environment for the students, staff and wider school community,” CPB Contractors managing director, Juan Santamaria said.
Backed by CPB Contractors, Broad is CIMIC Group’s specialist building company, which has undertaken commercial and social infrastructure projects in Western Australia and in Queensland, including Yarrabilba State High School and the redevelopment of the Kingaroy Hospital.
