SOUTH Australian gas company Epic Energy is relocating to 1 King William St in Adelaide’s CBD, signing a five-year lease with a five-year option over part of level eight.
It will pay $485 per sqm in a deal struck by Adam Hartley of Savills.
Hartley said Epic Energy was attracted to the building for its central city location and high standard of recent upgrades.
“1 King William Street has arguably the most technologically advanced air-conditioning systems and lighting of all Adelaide CBD office buildings, which provide its tenants with the best working climate possible at reduced utility costs,” he said. “Other drawcards included the on-site car parking for field vehicles, best-in-class end-of-trip facilities for the staff members who cycle to work or go to the gym, and close proximity to train and bus transport.”
