WHITE goods giant Fisher & Paykel Australia is moving its head office and warehouse in Sydney.
The Macquarie deal was negotiated by Darren Curry, Simon van Grootel and Adam Micola, whilst the Warwick Farm deal was negotiated by Darren Curry & Adam Micola of Savills NSW.
Based in Lidcombe for 13 years, Fisher & Paykel will be relocating its head office to Level 2, 5 Eden Park Drive, Macquarie Park. The space is an A grade tenancy comprises 1,108 sqm of space and the lease has been agreed for a term just under three years, attracting a net rental of $320 per sqm.
The warehouse operations will also be relocating to 28 Scrivener St Warwick Farm in Sydney’s industrial west. The freestanding building comprises a gross lettable area of 10,284 sqm. The rental rate was $82.65 a sqm net.
Curry said both moves offer practicality and convenience for Fisher & Paykel.
“On the door step of Macquarie Park is the train station, cafes, restaurants and staff amenity, all of which are major draw cards for staff and Warwick Farm is well known for attracting logistics and freight companies due to its close proximity to the M5.
“Together they offer major competitive advantages including a diverse industry base, excellent telecommunications and transport provisions.” Curry concluded.
