FLEXIBLE workspace provider Hub Australia has found its fifteenth location at the heritage listed 44 Martin Place, Sydney.
Set to open in mid-2023, the new flagship in the heart of the Sydney CBD will comprise a 400-desk offering with a premium business lounge, an aperitivo bar, personalised cultural experiences, a lifestyle concierge and an exclusive business and executive networking community.
“Our aim is to provide a sophisticated offering that competes with the best around the globe, as we continually strive to provide the best premium workspace experience for our customers. Hub Martin Place is the next evolution of the ultimate workspace experience here in Australia,” said John Preece, chief property officer at Hub.
“The incredibly high demand for premium workspaces in Sydney is showing no sign of slowing down, and this new flagship site responds directly to the expectations of next-generation professionals who are embracing new ways of working and expect a holistic, engaging and seamless workspace experience that goes beyond desks and square metres.
Hub Martin Place will be designed by architects Hassel and span three floors, with amenities including a serviced café and bar on level 1 operated by Hub and available for all building tenants, a business lounge, bookable meeting spaces and various desk and private office configurations.
“Hub Australia’s trademark hospitality-led service and best-in-business amenity management will curate a customer experience that is unsurpassed for members of Hub Martin Place. We strongly believe that offering corporates a private, bespoke, and sophisticated premium workspace will help them to attract and retain talented staff in a competitive environment,” said Rebekah Murphy, chief experience officer at Hub.
“Hub Martin Place will deliver a new level of personalised service for its members, with tailored executive wellness programs and lifestyle concierge services integral to its offerings. The workspace experience will also extend beyond the confines of Hub’s levels to activate Martin Place at a precinct level, bringing in lifestyle and cultural partnerships, to facilitate spaces and platforms for business leaders to gather, work, connect and socialise.”
The deal was directly brokered between Hub’s in-house property team and Martin Place owner, Gwynvill, following discussions that commenced nearly five years back.
Martin Place’s (YEAR) refurbishment will enables the building to reach several sustainability targets including a 5 Star NABERs Base Building Energy rating and 4 Star Green Star Design and As Built rating.
“Our focus continues to be driving the evolution of building hospitality and flexible work in Australia, and this site is the culmination of over ten-years of experience and expertise in the local market combined with global best-practice,” concluded Preece.
