GOOD Kitchen & Bathroom has offloaded its western Sydney headquarters to a private investor in a $9.625 million sale and leaseback deal.
The manufacturer of home cabinets and furnishings will remain at the 7,147 sqm Fairfield East site at 34-38 Lisbon Street, which features two warehouse, office and showroom buildings of 6,359 sqm, on a three-year lease with two further three year options.
The smaller building, 38 Lisbon Street, is a showroom office with a basement.
Lisbon Street is just off Woodville Road and near the Hume Highway, while the M4 and Great Western Highway are within reach.
“The sale is the biggest we’ve seen in Fairfield East this year, while the buyer has secured a long-term income stream through its leaseback to Good Kitchen & Bathroom,” said CBRE’s Janet Joljian, who managed the expressions of interest sale with Elijah Shakir.
“This well-connected property offered interested parties the flexibility to occupy, invest or do both, given its large building area.”
