LITTLE more than one year since being mostly destroyed by fire, a Marrickville warehouse has sold under the hammer for $2.503 million.
The 405 sqm corner site at 142 Victoria Road, which has frontage to Chapel Street, was marketed with vacant possession by Belle Commercial Property’s Andrew Bozza and Rocco Tripodi as the first property offered within the newly gazetted Victoria Road Precinct.
Located opposite the proposed Rich Street Creative Hub, the property is zoned Business Development 5 and has a potential height of 24 metres.
No one was injured when the former music studio and residential building went up in flames late in 2017, and took six trucks to be brought under control.
Jesse Davidson of Auctionworks auctioned the property.
