Real estate investment management firm Private Pension Partners has inked a strategic partnership with venture capital group Ruck Lane, Green Street News can reveal.
The partnership “brings deep industry expertise and critical capital relationships,” the companies said.
P3’s real estate platform for institutional and high-net-worth clients includes asset management, property management and leasing to brokerage services, as well as investment opportunities in private real estate vehicles it manages.
P3 manages Apartment Plus REIT, which offers a stabilized portfolio of premium and luxury multifamily properties in regional Canadian markets. It has a fair market value of $565m.
P3’s leadership team will remain in Winnipeg, but the firm will add an executive function in Toronto.
“This strategic partnership allows P3 to continue its mission through a best-in-class fully integrated real estate platform, now on an expanded scale,” said P3 CEO Don White. “While our head office will remain in Winnipeg, we are excited to leverage our proven platform into key markets nationwide, and to create value by unlocking opportunities for our existing clients and investors, as well as new ones.”
Chuck Scott, CEO of Ruck Lane, said, “Ruck Lane is dedicated to working with real estate companies committed to realizing their full potential and leveraging economies of scale. Since 2010, the P3 team has developed a robust platform and an impressive track record. We look forward to supporting their expansion into new markets across Canada.”
