COMMERCIAL real estate private debt fund manager Payton Capital has enhanced its NSW team with three new appointments, in Ava Thomas, Hamish Tweedy and Adeeba Ali.
Thomas is joining Payton Capital as investment director, NSW and will bring more than 12 years of experience in private banking and financial advisory.
Thomas has held roles at NAB and Westpac with a focus on investment and credit lending and will in her new position work with the investor services team to help high-net-worth clients manage and grow their wealth.
Tweedy has been appointed as senior relationship director, BSW, bringing more than three decades of experience in property finance and funds management to the role.
Tweedy specialises in structuring and risk management for property development finance, having previously worked as Head of Credit at Gemi Investments and has held senior roles at major institutions, including Westpac, ANZ, and NAB.
Ali has been appointed as senior relationship manager, NSW, bringing over six years of experience in New Zealand’s banking sector, specialising in property finance and commercial banking.

Back in August, Payton Capital appointed former NAB executive Peter Loukas as its new state manager, Victoria.
While in May, HMC Capital in line with its target to build a $5 billion private credit platform, acquired Payton Capital in a $127.5 million deal.
