The old cliche that the world is getting smaller is now reality, thanks to the internet. The world’s real estate gurus come together next April online with the third annual National Real Estate On-Line Convention & Exposition.
The convention will be live online from April 18-24, 2004.
Originally, the convention was set up for North American real estate professionals but according to conference organisers it is fast becoming a world-wide real estate event.
Last year, more than 32,000 real estate executives took part in the online convention, which included several hundred Australians.
According to organiser, Angela Portosa, of the Real Estate CyberSpace Society, Australian real estate professionals took an active interest in last year’s convention.
“There is growing interest from people involved in real estate from both Australia and New Zealand,” Ms Portosa told propertyreview.com.au.
Ms Portosa said daily education sessions presented by the leading minds in the real estate world give valuable information on how to network.
Live keynote sessions will be geared to new and emerging trends in the real estate world. The On-Line Exposition also features more than 300 vendors.
Last year’s convention breakdown of 32,436 participants was as follows:
87.2% Residential
55.3% Buyer Agent
35.3% Commercial
27.6% Investor/Owner
23.1% Broker Owner/Office Manger
13.9% Property Management
