WESTFIELD shopping centres landlord Scentre Group has appointed ANZ board member and former Coca-Cola Amatil chair Ilana Atlas as an independent non-executive director.
Atlas is currently a non-executive director ANZ and Origin Energy, and is a director of the Paul Ramsay Foundation, chair of Jawun and a panel member of Adara Partners.
She was also previously a director of Treasury Corporation of New South Wales, Westfield Group and Suncorp, and was group executive people and group secretary and general counsel at Westpac and a partner at Mallesons Stephen Jacques (now King & Wood Mallesons), where she also held several management roles.
“Ilana has an accomplished non-executive and executive career and brings a breadth and depth of skills and experience to the board. She also has a strong commitment to the community, in particular, the arts and education,” Scentre Group’s chairman, Brian Schwartz said.
