GOLD Coast property developer Sherpa Property Group has been given the green light for a new residential project on Chevron Island, Perspective Helm.
Perspective Helm will be a collection of residences on a prime site at 107 Stanhill Drive, with the three-storey development to include 10 residences with four waterfront villas, four river residences and two two-storey penthouses.
The project will target members of the boating community, with the riverfront site to feature marina berths.
“We are thrilled to have been granted approval to proceed with this project that we believe will deliver a unique lifestyle that’s better than beachfront,” said Daniel Clarke, managing director at Sherpa Property Group.
While Perspective Helm hasn’t officially launched, the project has received significant interest from potential local buyers with expressions of interest already noted through a waitlist.
“We’ve received a great deal of local pre-launch enquiries into the project. This highlights to us that the unique product type we will be bringing to Chevron Island is striking a chord in the neighbourhood, particularly those who want to decrease their maintenance and streamline their lifestyle,” added Clarke.
“We also expect there to be significant interstate and international interest as this is a world-class address.”
Residences will see three to four bedroom plus multi-purpose room configurations, with premium on-site amenities including a wellness centre with a cold plunge, spa, sauna and Pilates machines.
The project will feature architecture by HAL Architects and interior design by MAS Architecture studio.
Sherpa paid an undisclosed amount last November for the 1,710 sqm site at 107 Stanhill Drive in Chevron Island and lodged a development application for the site the following month.
Perspective Helm is set to launch in the coming weeks, with construction on track to commence by the end of 2024.
